Body Lotion - Body Cream?

Are they the same thing, or are the different? And is the cream better, or the lotion better?Body Lotion - Body Cream?
It depends on what is in them....I found that under the eye area ...gets little white comodones if I use eye cream...so the cosmetologists recommends eye gel and it worked to eliminate them.';Rosacea patients often prefer lotions over creams as the latter type

of products may increase any shine that tends to be present already. Industry expert Tony O鈥橪enick asks: What鈥檚 the difference between a cream and a lotion? The answer this week is provided by the Wikipedia Web site, accessible at: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emulsion.

Both creams and lotions are emulsions having a water and oil phase. The salient difference is the thickness.

Lotions are a low-viscosity emulsions. Most lotions are oil-in-water emulsions but water-in-oil lotions also are formulated. Lotions are designed to be applied without heavy rubbing. Since they have a low viscosity, they usually are easily rubbed onto the skin.

Creams are much higher viscosity materials. They generally are semi-solid emulsions. Like lotions, creams can be either oil-in-water or water-in-oil emulsions. Oil-in-water creams are more comfortable and cosmetically acceptable as they are less greasy and more easily washed off using water. Water-in-oil creams are more difficult to handle but are more moisturizing as they provide an oily barrier that reduces water loss from the skin.Body Lotion - Body Cream?
body cream is thicker than body lotion and in my opinion the cream goes on better meaning it doesn't take forever to rub it in.
Body cream is usually more of a casual kind of thing where as body lotion is an all the time kind of thing%26gt;Body cream is also more expensive than body lotion.Check it out. Some you will like better than others. See how your skin feels with both and then make a decision..
Body cream tends to be thicker and last a little longer. I use it only on the driest parts of my body. Otherwise, I just use the lotion; it goes on quickly.
you forgot to mention body butter, which i like the best because it is thicker.....I have some I got from Fiji and it has 100% cold pressed coconut oil in it, very good for your skin and smells delicious
hmmm, i perfer body cream because typically it's a thicker formula and leaves my skin feeling softer with less of a greasey film...but it really depends on your personal tastes. other than that make sure that you read the lable incase of any allergies you may have...
body lotion is body cream with water.

so if you want thicker, richer, get cream.

is you want just normal moistuizer, get lotion.
